Spring has come and we look forward to warmer days ahead!
It has been almost three years since our last newsletter. We hope that now things are going back to our new normal that we will be able to put them out at least quarterly. Please see the attached newsletter.

Join the Retired Nurse Interest Group as we welcome Kathleen Pikaart RN, BScN, BSc(Hon).
Kathleen presently works in the homecare sector with a specialized geriatric team. She will share pointers on navigating our health system and connecting to home care and community supports.

Ever envision yourself wrapping the perfect gift? Then, resorting to a gift bag?
Or, have you ever tried to wrap a gift but been dissatisfied with the result?
Wrapping is a skill to be learned!
Join the Retired Nurse Interest Group (RetNIG) as we welcome Sonya Heath, a guru of present wrapping. She will share some secrets of wrapping pretty gifts that we can be proud of.

Social media can be used to share interesting facts, stories and other important information. But it also raises a lot of questions. How can we stay safe online? How do we prevent being hacked? Are we safe to make purchases online?
Join the Staff Nurse Interest Group along with the Retired Nurse Interest Group on Zoom with guest Anukul Thakur who will present a webinar on social media safety. We will give more details on Anukul in the near future.

Once again the Registered Nurses' Foundation of Ontario (RNFOO who adminstrates a portfolio of scholarships available to nurses and nursing students) is seeking Reviewers for the Awards and Scholarships annual application process. This year we have 82 awards worth more than $100,000 to distribute.
