We have received a request from a Master's student in nursing. I have reviewed the detailed information she shared with me and her ethics approval documentation from the University of Ottawa obtained in autumn 2021. And everything I have read meet the requirements for her research to moving into recruitment of participants.

Sexual and Gender Minorities Content in the Nursing Standards.
RNAO will:
Speak out for human rights and health equity
• Speak out against implicit biases, prejudices, stereotypes and policies that are discriminatory and cisheteronormative;
The purpose of this BPG is to provide nurses and other members of the interprofessional team with evidence-based recommendations on foundational, inclusive and affirming care practices for Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, and additional (2SLGBTQI+) people.
