We have received a request from a Master's student in nursing. I have reviewed the detailed information she shared with me and her ethics approval documentation from the University of Ottawa obtained in autumn 2021. And everything I have read meet the requirements for her research to moving into recruitment of participants.
Here is an excerpt from her request.
“NURSES' PREPAREDNESS TO CARE FOR RACIALIZED GENDER-DIVERSE PEOPLE”
“My name is Julia Melisek, and I am an MScN student at the University of Ottawa. I am conducting a study on the cultural humility of nurses to care for racialized gender-diverse populations. The study is surveying nurses of all classes in Ontario.”
Julia is seeking RNs, RPNs and NPs to participate in a 15 minute online survey to support this study. You'll find more information and a link and QR code to access the survey in the attached PDF poster. You will have access to her research results.
