Dear PCNIG member,
Nursing Week is fast approaching (May 8 – 14, 2023) and we’re joining RNAO home office’s initiative to turn its new Nursing Career Pathways report into action by celebrating colleagues who stand out for their love of, and commitment to palliative care nursing.
Help us highlight and celebrate the important work of palliative care nurses. Please email us (rnao.pcnig@gmail.com) with a nomination of yourself or a nursing colleague who can share their story about working as a palliative care nurse. Note: Please ensure the nominee knows you’re submitting their name and they are willing to participate.
Of the nominations we receive, we will be supporting 5 nominees to each make a 1-minute video talking about why they became a nurse, what pathway they took, why they love nursing, and/or their hopes for nursing. Videos will be shared on RNAO's Nursing Career Pathways during nursing week.
Nominations are due by Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
Please respond to this email and answer the following four questions (max 150 words):

- Why should this nurse be profiled?
