As we recognize Hospice Palliative Care Week, we are especially mindful of this year’s theme, “Palliative Care Everywhere.” It beautifully reflects the reality and aspiration of our work – our aim to make compassionate, high-quality palliative care accessible in every setting for every person who needs it.
We want to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of you. The care you provide every day—across communities, homes, hospitals, long-term care and beyond – brings this theme to life. Your compassion, clinical expertise, and presence at such meaningful and often vulnerable moments make an immeasurable difference for patients and families.
We are continually inspired by your commitment, and we are excited to keep building on this momentum together. As a network, we look forward to continuing to grow education, strengthen our sense of community and expand accessible resources to support palliative and hospice care practice everywhere it is needed.
This week is also a gentle reminder of the importance of caring for yourselves, as you so generously care for others. We hope each of you is able to find moments of rest, reflection and renewal.
