Black History Month was a great success for our interest group as it was filled with activities, networking, conferences, webinars and spreading awareness of our existence in the nursing community.

Greetings BNLC members !! 

We continue our Black History Month celebrations with yet another great event.  Join us for the Black Community Marketplace held on Friday February 23rd from 12 to 4 pm at the Ottawa Hospital at the General  Campus cafeteria.  This is an exciting event that you do not want to miss.

In preparation for planning our meetings and various activities for this year, the executive committee members of the Black Nurses Leading Change Interest Group would like to obtain your input. Your feedback would provide guidance in selecting educational topics, webinars, or activities for the 2024 calendar year.

The Black Nurses’ Leading Change Interest Group invites you to register for their Inaugural Annual General Meeting. Featuring guest speaker Shelly Philip LaForest, scheduled to take place: Nov. 7, 2023 from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. ET.

With a looming deadline of January 30, 2023, the Black Nurses Leading Change (BNLC) Interest Group submitted 2 resolutions to the RNAO, on behalf of the membership.

We value the feedback of our membership, and we are consulting with you for input on these 2 resolutions. We have a deadline of March 4th to submit editorial changes to the RNAO.

We invite you to complete the following survey (see links below) to gather your feedback.
