April Newsletter:

Good day, members,

April has been a relatively quiet month for us, but we’ve got some exciting events lined up for May and June!

We have a new e-mail address!

RNAO and its interest groups have recently transitioned to a new email provider, and we now have a new email address. Please use bnlc@chapters-igs.rnao.ca moving forward and refrain from using our old address.

BNLC Addressing Black and Brown Skin Inequalities:

Chair Lori Zozzolotto, along with Liaison Dania Versaillies and Shelly Philip LaForest (Founder of the Ontario Black Nurses Network), will be guest panelists at the 44th Nurses Specialized Wound Ostomy Continence Canada (NSWOCC) National Conference. The panel will address healthcare inequities in the care of Black and Brown skin, scheduled for May 23rd–25th in Montreal, Quebec. This event will focus on how skin treatments for people of color may differ, and how care needs can be unique.
