Hello Region 10 members,

Join us on Tuesday, Nov. 16 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. ET for our Fall Tour with RNAO President Morgan Hoffarth who will speak about RNAO's relentless advocacy this past year on topics such as nurse understaffing and burnout, mandatory vaccination for all health-care workers and changes needed in long-term care. RNAO also wants to hear your thoughts and concerns on any issues related to your practice or the health system more broadly and share the successes that we, as members, should be proud of.

We would like to remind you about our upcoming membership meeting this Thursday, January 21st from 7-9pm.

Luckily, we have been able to secure some exciting speakers, Carlyn Tancioco and Rosanne Jabbour, from the College of Nurses of Ontario who will speak to changing RPN scopes and RN prescribing. We will also be handing out 25-year and Chapter Emeritus awards following their presentation. As the new year rolls in many of us are optimistic about the changes that are happening in our community.

While change is constant, one thing that remains the same is our Chapter's goal to bring you inspiring and informative speakers year-round. With that in mind, we are ecstatic to get 2021 rolling as we will welcome Carlyn Tancioco to our January Membership meeting!
