Hello Region 10 members,

Our community has been through a lot, not just in these past weeks, but over the past two years. 

Join us for a special members' meeting dedicated to wellness and community. 

Aksana Kavaliova-Moussi, RP, Certified Music Therapist, Neurologic Music Therapist Fellow and Certified Trauma Integration Clinician, will share with us how she uses music purposefully within therapeutic relationships to support development, health and well-being. 

The Community Health Nurses Interest Group as our spotlight guest will be highlighted by Mary Aubin Cadet, sharing their work and ways to be involved in the community.

Keynote Speaker: Aksana Kavaliova-Moussi

Aksana Kavaliova-Moussi, RP, Certified Music Therapist, Neurologic Music Therapist Fellow, Certified Trauma Integration Clinician, is a music therapist in private practice and a psychotherapist with the Family Counselling Centre of Niagara. Aksana had a private practice in the Kingdom of Bahrain prior to coming back to Canada in 2020. She works with individuals with developmental delays, mental health issues (including trauma), runs groups in various LTC homes. She worked at the Hospice Niagara, both in person (individually) and virtually (day hospice and grief music therapy groups). Aksana is a published author, presented nationally and internationally in Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Japan, Russia, UAE. She is a vice-president of the Music Therapy Association of Ontario, secretary of the World Federation of Music Therapy, and a co-chair of the Online Conference for Music Therapy. www.instagram.com/aksana_musictherapy
