Research Opportunity for Mental Health Nurses

Researchers from the Faculty of Nursing at U of T are currently looking for mental health nurses to participate in a Delphi expert panel to determine key indicators for measuring the quality of discharge planning in mental healthcare settings.

To be eligible, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • currently work within the general mental health setting;
  • have over two years of experience with discharge planning processes and/or knowledge regarding the transition of mental health patients from hospital to community; and
  • have access to the Internet and electronic equipment (i.e., laptop or desktop computer)

Expert panel members will be sent two to three online surveys and asked to rate the importance of discharge planning quality indicators. Your participation will help develop a new instrument that can be used to improve discharge planning processes, guidelines, and standards in mental health care.

If you any questions or are interested in participating in this study, please contact Sarah Xiao at sarah.xiao@mail.utoronto.ca or 647-708-6337. The deadline to respond is Friday, December 7th, 2018.
