Please join us for ONEIG’s Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, September 28th from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM! We will be introducing you to our executive team, welcoming new members, reviewing our initiatives and accomplishments this past year, discussing future plans, and featuring talks from two guest speakers: Kerrie Pickering and Katie North!
Katie North is a Registered Nurse with a myriad of experience in frontline healthcare and education. She is currently completing her doctoral research focused on sustainability and waste in healthcare settings.
Kerrie Pickering is past President of ONEIG and a research associate at the University of the Sunshine Coast whose research has focused on health, food, and social-ecological change.
We look forward to hearing about their research and the ways that they have applied their passion for addressing ecological determinants of health as nurses and hope you can join us!
We will also be raffling off prizes featuring eco-friendly products! Details for how to enter will be provided during the meeting. Hope to see you there!
