5) ONE & CANE-ON at Conferences
Our executive team has been super busy presenting at conferences as well!
On June 22, Josalyn Radcliffe, May Tao and Rob Samulack presented at the Community Health Nurses Conference in Vancouver. Josalyn and May represented in person. ONE and RNAO's Community Health Nursing Initiative group sponsored Josalyn's attendance and May went as a conference organizer, while Rob presented virtually. They presented on the work that our interest group does in moving planetary health forward within the profession as well as the pivotal role that ONE has played in the lives of the executive members. Some of those stories can be found here. We are always looking for more interested nurses to engage in on our executive team, so if these stories leave you feeling inspired, please reach out to [email protected]
Steve Cairns had a poster presentation at the Canadian Association of School of Nursing Conference between May 31st and June 2nd. He has said that he was particularly inspired by Jess Crawford's presentation.
ONE also had a poster at the RNAO AGM. This initiative was led by Cailin Doyle with the assistance of Sadie Pakeezah. They based their poster off of last year's poster designed by Elwad Ahmed.
There are lots of photos and they will be included in the next edition of the ONE newsletter.
