  • To recognize the distinction between an Indigenous led vs. settler led community of practice.
  • To create respectful healing relationships with Indigenous peoples through cultural humility appropriate for each unique community
  • To describe Urban Indigenous vs First Nation person centered culture-based care
  • To assure the Inclusion of the Voice of Knowledge keepers and elders of First Nation, Inuit and Metis people when teaching nurses and providing nursing care
  • To identify how the Truth and Reconciliation calls to Action can be embodied in wholistic nursing education and practice, which includes addressing spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical needs.
