Hello ONEIG members,
In December and January, you were asked to consider your support on a resolution from ONEIG on the Right to Safe Water and Sanitation. This resolution brought together the work of the Council of Canadians, the David Suzuki Foundation, the United Nations and more to emphasize the need for RNAO's support for building healthy, equitable, and sustainable water regulations and systems.
We're happy to report that the resolution was accepted unanimously by the membership and the RNAO review committee, and Josalyn Radcliffe (Communications ENO) will present it at the June 2020 RNAO AGM to the broader membership. Over the next few months, we will be pulling together more information about the ways that RNAO can and should engage to protect and promote healthy water and sanitation in the province and beyond. The resolution is attached to this email for you to review and consider.
