June Quarterly Meeting:

Keynote Speakers: Dr. Nancy Brookes, RN; MSc(A); PhD and Dr. Carmen Hust RN, MScN, PhD, CPMHN

Topic: Spirituality: A Way to Cope with Climate Emotions

In this interactive presentation we will explore emotions related to the environmental crisis. Giving voice to the emotions is the first step in finding ways to cope. While not always religious in nature, spirituality often encompasses a deep sense of connection to self, others, nature and something greater, which can foster resilience. Together we will explore spirituality as a means to cope with distress, grief and environmental uncertainty.
