For-Nurses

Hello everyone,

One of our own RNIG members, Roya Haghiri-Vijeh, is conducting research for the doctoral research. This is a Canada-wide study; please feel free to share with those who may be interested. Please see her posters below and contact Roya directly for more information (rhaghiri-vijeh@centennialcollege.ca or 416-289-5000 ext. 8150).

If you are a 2SLGBTQ+ migrant (refugee, asylum seeker, immigrant, newcomer, new-settler, citizen or non-status resident) and received/receiving nursing and healthcare services in Canada this study might be of interest to you!

OR

If you are a nurse (practicing, retired, student, administrator, educator, or policymaker) and have provided or have knowledge about nursing care provided to migrant 2SLGBTQ+ communities in Canada, this study might be of interest to you! From : Roya Haghiri-Vijeh, RN BN MN (Hons) PhD (c).

I have a copy of Roya's Ethics approval. I encourage you to participate (if you meet the criteria) and you can circulate this message to individuals/ migrants who can provide input to the research.

See the 2 posters attached.

Sincerely,

Paul-André Gauthier, RN, PhD (nursing) Provincial President of RNIG - Rainbow
