Dear ONEIG members,

We hope the summer season finds you in good health and with time to contemplate the beauty of this planet that sustains us. While news accounts of the toll of climate change and losses of biodiversity are sobering calls to action, it is important to remain inspired and hopeful. The words of conservationist Rachel Carson come to mind, “Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts.”

We are starting the September season with our Annual General Meeting on Wednesday September 4^th, 2019. Please join us!

We warmly invite you to join us via Zoom teleconference for this important gathering where you will have the opportunity to meet the members of our executive, including the new president and membership ENO, hear about the work we've done and our plans leading up to the fall federal election, and share your input on ONEIG’s role in promoting issues pertaining to health and the environment.
