Take Action Now:
We talked about highways 413 and the Bradford Bypass at our quarterly meeting, and we have recieved this email through the David Suzuki Foundation. Be sure to send your email before January 26, 2022:
On Wed Jan 26, Brampton will consider a motion that criticizes Hwy 413. This is great news – but the motion will only pass if Brampton’s mayor hears from folks like yourself. Would you mind sending a one-sentence email to Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown?
The email can simply say: “Please oppose Hwy 413. The Greenbelt is no place for a mega-highway.”
The Mayor’s email is: MayorBrown@brampton.ca
Thanks so much for reading and stay tuned for more ONEIG news!
