We are calling on you to join ONEIG and RNAO (RNAO CEO Doris Grinspun will be present with the RNAO banner), along with other environmental and social justice groups at the Climate Change Rally at Queen's Park in Toronto tomorrow. Please email us at oneigrnao@gmail.com if you are going (if possible! last minute additions are also so welcome!) so you can connect as ONEIG members with Doris and represent nurses that stand up for climate justice! Many ONEIG executive members live outside of Toronto so we really need your help and representation!

WHAT: A large, climate justice rally with people of all ages in Toronto
WHO: Torontonians of all ages, including youth climate strikers, teachers, labour representatives, Indigenous peoples, social justice and racial justice advocates and more.
WHEN: Saturday, November 6, 2021, 1:00 p.m. EDT
WHERE: Queen’s Park, Toronto (south lawn)

Skyler Williams, Six Nations land defender and spokesperson for 1492 Landback Lane
Andria Babbington, first Black woman president of the Toronto and York Region Labour Council and longtime labour activist
Alice Zhu, environmental science PhD student at U of T and member of People’s Climate Movement
Zoe Keary-Matzner , a young Toronto climate activist and one of seven young people, backed by Ecojustice, suing the Ford government for weakening Ontario’s 2030 climate target

The rally program will include other arts and Indigenous cultural performers as well as interactive actions attendees can participate in together.
We are making efforts to accommodate people with accessibility needs, including seating and space for mobility devices near the front and ASL interpretation.
COVID-19 precautions (including mandatory masks, social distancing and sanitizing stations) will be in effect for the health and safety of all attendees.
