At our December meeting, the ONEIG executive and members decided to move forward to create a resolution to protect the right to safe water and sanitation in Ontario.

Access to safe water and sanitation for all is essential to life and a matter of environmental and social justice. Unfortunately, there are over 100 drinking water advisories in First Nations across Canada and no national strategy to address urgent water issues.
