Hello members,

We are writing to share the following announcement from Dr. Laura Sikstrom about a research study being conducted through the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH):

My name is Dr. Laura Sikstrom, and my colleagues at CAMH and I are conducting a research study to explore the development of care competencies for virtual mental health contexts. As a professional involved in virtual mental health care, your input is valuable in assisting us to understand which virtual care competencies can be applied to virtual mental health settings.

For this research study, we are conducting a two-hour workshop to gain your input on which virtual care competencies should be included in a virtual mental health care framework. The workshop will include a Pile-Sorting Technique, which will be reviewed on the day of the workshop.

Due to the pandemic, this workshop will be delivered via WebEx. Participation is completely voluntary, and your decision whether to participate will not impact your professional relationship with CAMH. You may also decide to withdraw from the research study prior to or during the workshop. During the workshop, you will be within a group of other virtual mental health care stakeholders and people with lived experience of receiving virtual mental health care.

If you are interested in participating, or if you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me (Dr. Laura Sikstrom) by email (laura.sikstrom@camh.ca) or phone (416-535-8501 x 30082).

Thank you,
Dr. Laura Sikstrom (Principal Investigator)
