The Staff Nurse Interest Group and the Retired Nurse Interest Group offer a Resume Writing Webinar  - Hosted by Riek Van den Berg.

Appealing to Nurses of All Ages and at all stages of their Career Paths!

Are you looking to update your older resume? Need a more appropriate resume for a position change? Starting out and don't know where to begin? Perhaps have been out of the workplace and are now looking at returning to a new career? 

What does a 2022 resume need?   How long should it be? What are employers looking for? What about references?  What about your Social media presence- Does it matter? What counts as experience?

Riek van den Berg is a retired Registered Nurse. She retired in 2011
from The Ottawa Hospital after 30 years, where she worked in a number of
clinical, education and leadership positions.
After graduating from the University of Ottawa, Riek taught ethics to
nursing students for 15 years. She has also served on a number of school
committees.
Riek has served as Parliamentarian for a number of nursing organizations
and has been involved in a number of governance committees for a variety
of organizations.
Riek was heavily involved in RNAO and CNA and other nursing groups. She
has also worked on a number of health policy initiatives.
