Hello OntWIG supporters!
The theme for this year's 9th Annual OntWIG symposium is ENGAGE. ALIGN. INFLUENCE: Leveraging Interprofessional Teams. Ideally, we are all working in teams with inter-disciplines and building on each other's strengths but sometimes that is not possible or we do not know how. We have a wonderful event planned for you to be empowered and transform your interprofessional teams. We will also be hearing from the Ministry of Health and Long-term Care on updates about the wound care funding and plans, best practices from several LHINs, and THINK Research on how they are meeting challenges within Wound Care. In the afternoon, our guest speaker Tracey DasGupta the Director of Professional Practice from Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre will moderate a panel of interprofessional experts willing to discuss their expertise on the topic.
