Dear RNAO Waterloo Chapter,
During Mayor Kathryn McGarry's call in February, she spoke about the upcoming site selection report for a potential Consumption and Treatment coming to Cambridge Council.
Tues March 30 at 5:00, Cambridge Council will consider a report regarding 2 sites, with the recommendation that Council directs staff to move ahead with public consultation on both candidate sites.
Unfortunately, there is a lot of misinformation circulating regarding CTS which is harmful to this process.
This March, Conestoga’s School of Health & Life Sciences will have completed our three-year pre-designation journey to become a Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario Best Practice Spotlight Organization. We are the one of the first colleges in Ontario and Canada to do so.
To celebrate, Conestoga will be hosting a virtual showcase event on Wednesday, March 31 11:30 am – 12:30 pm via Zoom. We will host members of the community to speak to how the BPSO designation will positively impact Conestoga’s students, college, and community.
Dear member,
What is it like to be a Registered Nurse and Mayor of Cambridge?
Join us on Thursday, February 11 at 7:00 p.m. to hear from Mayor Kathryn McGarry who will speak on the advantage of being a Registered Nurse while helping to navigate the City and Region through the COVID-19 pandemic.
All are invited to attend.
