Hello Waterloo Chapter members! Nursing week is fast approaching May 8-12. Your executive has been exploring three possibilities to celebrate. Go HERE to select your top option!
1. Option 1: Tuesday, May 9, 8pm-9:30pm--90 minute axe throwing session at Bad Axe in Waterloo where you will be in groups with an instructor/facilitator to have a blast testing your axe throwing abilities. Pizza will be provided by the Chapter. There is a cash bar. Cost to you: ~$25 (usual cost is $44/person). Non-members will be charged $35. We are considering a student rate as well.
2. Option 2: Thursday, May 11, 6pm-9pm Dinner and entertaining speaker at Kypreos on Lancaster in Kitchener. Anticipated cost to you ~$30-35/person (this is an estimate) but will not include alcohol. Depending on the cost of the meal, we will consider non-member and student pricing as well.
3. Option 3: BOTH!
We are considering two events for a number of reasons. We want as many nurses in the Region to be able to celebrate at least one event and we want to appeal to those that might want to throw an axe at Bill 124 (just an idea) and those that may want to be a little calmer. It has been a long 3 years...time for us to be together.
