  • Breaking the Silence: Let’s Talk About Violence in Health Care

    The Middlesex Elgin Chapter, in partnership with the Mental Health Nursing Interest Group, would like to invite you to virtual conversation with James Brophy & Margaret Keith, the authors of Code White: Sounding the Alarm on Violence against Health Care Workers, a 2021 publication that shines a light on the human cost of the occurrence of violence within health care in Ontario.

  • Call for consultation representatives

    ***This is an opportunity to volunteer as a consultation representative for Middlesex Elgin Chapter***

    Middlesex-Elgin Chapter is eligible to send a maximum of 11 consultation representatives to RNAO’s annual general meeting (AGM) on Friday, June 10, 2022. The timing and format of the event will be finalized in the coming weeks as we continue to monitor public health directives related to gatherings.

    The past two years in healthcare have been challenging to say the least. On March 23, 2022 at 7:30 p.m, "come as you are" -  join us for a night of "candid conversations to carry you through"! Grab a beverage and snack of your choice, get comfy, and enjoy a night of no judgment, no-pressure conversation with fellow nurses about anything and everything! Virtually support your fellow nurses via zoom and share a drink and some laughs.

  • Middlesex-Elgin Post AGM Survey

    As a follow up to our annual general meeting (AGM) on Nov. 23, we have a short survey for members who registered for the event. The survey should take less than five minutes. We hope that even those members who could not attend will complete it to provide us insight on promotion of the event.

  • MSE Annual General Meeting!

    Dear Middlesex-Elgin Members,

    We are thrilled to announce our 2021 RNAO Middlesex Elgin Annual General Meeting (AGM)!

    We invite our members to join us virtually on November 23, 2021 from 7:30-09:00 pm. In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic and the physical distancing requirements across Ontario, this AGM will be held via ZOOM.

  • RNAO Fall Virtual Tour - St. Joseph’s Health Care London

    Hello Middlesex-Elgin Chapter Members,

    This fall we are very excited to host RNAO's CEO Dr. Doris Grinspun for our virtual Fall Tour.

    Please join us on November 15th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., for the 2021 Virtual Fall Tour at Parkwood Institute for Mental Health at St. Joseph’s Health Care, London.  Members of RNAO will share their experiences within the scope of their roles through the pandemic and how they advocated for the health and wellness of their patients, families, communities and continue to support their workforce of skilled nurses.

  • Homeless Coalition Memorial Event

    Middlesex Elgin Chapter of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) is supporting London Homeless Coalition in a memorial event for the homeless in London.

    This is an event that honors and recognizes the lives that have been lost with experiencing homelessness, with the recognition of Indigenous homelessness too.

  • All Candidates Healthcare Debate

        Leading up to the federal election on September 20th, the Middlesex-Elgin Chapter have teamed up with the Ontario Health Coalition and the London Chapter of the Council of Canadians to bring to you an all candidates healthcare debate. All candidates from London’s four ridings have been invited to discuss their party's views on various healthcare issues facing Ontario.
