We will be discussing how we can work together to create safer spaces for the 2SLGBTQ+ population in healthcare.
We are excited to share that RNAO’s annual general meeting (AGM) will be taking place virtually from June 9-11, 2022. The Lambton Chapter will be able to send 3 members as consultation representatives. As a consultation representative, members will weigh in on resolutions that will help shape the association's agenda and focus. Deadline has been extended until Friday May 13th at 5 PM.

RNAO's Sarnia-Lambton chapter invites you to nominate yourself or a colleague for the first annual new graduate nurse awards to celebrate Nursing Week.
Nominees must be RNAO members. Preference will be given to members of the Lambton chapter.

Region 1 invites you to take time for yourself on Thursday January 20 at 7pm-8:30pm with Paula Manuel.
Creating space for yourself engage in self-care while you're busy caring for others can be a challenge. Especially considering the current pandemic context.
Self-care is important for all nurses but the structural issues that impact our abilities to provide care for ourselves are often forgotten.
The RNAO Waterloo, Kingston and Sarnia-Lambton Chapters along with the Rainbow Nursing Interest Group invites all RNAO Members from all chapters to join us on Wednesday, Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. for an educational session to learn about the opioid crisis facing Ontarians.
Come learn from Christina Hughes, Registered Nurse, about the public health crisis facing Ontarians. Christina will explore harm reduction, Consumption Treatment Services (CTS) and what nurses can do to advocate for change.
Do you have questions or thoughts to share about your experience as an RN, NP or nursing student during the pandemic? Would you like to learn more about RNAO?
Join us on Thursday, November 18 at 12 p.m. for our virtual #FallTour with RNAO President Morgan Hoffarth who will speak about RNAO’s relentless advocacy this past year on topics such as nurse understaffing and burnout, mandatory vaccination for all health-care workers and changes needed in long-term care.
