Nursing in the Age of AI: A Virtual Panel Conversation

Hosted by RNAO Ottawa (Region 10) in partnership with ONIG – Ontario Nursing Informatics Group

This engaging session will explore:

  • What AI really is and where it’s already impacting nursing
  • Opportunities for AI to enhance care — and the associated risks
  • The growing burden of technological change on nurses
  • Competencies nurses will need in the next 5–10 years
  • How nurses can ensure our voices guide innovation

The event will feature a moderated panel including:

  • Ryan Chan, Assistant Professor, Arthur Labatt School of Nursing, Western University
  • Representatives from local Ottawa digital health initiatives
  • ONIG leadership
