You are invited to attend a free event hosted by the Western Fanshawe Nursing Student Association at Western University on Nov. 26. Please see the attached poster for more information.
Members of RNAO's Rainbow Nursing Interest Group will be presenting on the LGBTQ+ patient population. Topics being covered will include creating a safe and welcoming environment, respectful language, trans definitions, cultural competence, and being an LGBTQ+ ally.
Pizza will be served.
Attendance is limited to 80 people maximum. Please sign your name up on the Google doc linked below. In addition to securing you a spot, our presenters require a rough idea of the number of people attending to better structure the presentation.
