Hello students,
You're invited to an exciting model World Health Organization (WHO) conference for nursing students in Ontario. This is YOUR chance to learn about: global issues and how decisions are made; how to chair meetings and negotiate resolutions with the aim of reaching consensus on the resolutions they will adopt; and leadership, diplomatic and a range of personal skills including but not limited to, negotiating, debating, public speaking, and conducting research on global public health issues.
What: WHO Student Model Conference
When: Saturday, Feb. 8, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Timetable:
- 8 a.m.: Breakfast available
- 9 a.m.: Meeting start time
- 4 p.m.: Meeting end time
- 5 p.m.: Dinner available
