Dear member,
Do you have questions or thoughts about the nursing crisis? Do you have an experience to share as an RN, NP or nursing student in the past year?
Join us on Sept. 13 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for our #FallTour with RNAO President Claudette Holloway as she tours the Middlesex London Health Unit (MLHU) and hears from staff about the work they do, the challenges they experience and the creative approaches they engage to enhance the health of the people they serve.
During this virtual tour you will have an opportunity to ask questions about the work of the MLHU and to learn about the advocacy work that RNAO is engaged in to enhance the quality of nursing and health care here in Ontario and across Canada.
During the past year, RNAO released Nursing Through Crisis: A Comparative Perspective, a report looking at the impact of the pandemic on nurses across the country. The association also launched the social media campaign #IENaction, advocating to expedite the application process for internationally educated nurses.
All are invited to attend.
Please register online. Once you have registered, you will receive meeting details about how to join the meet and greet. If you do not receive those details, please email us at middlesexelgin.rnao@gmail.com.
Sincerely,
Middlesex Elgin Chapter executive
