CTNIG Newsletter Submission Calls

Posted on May 12, 2018, 8:57 a.m.

It's time to start writing the Summer edition of the CTNIG newsletter.

We know that our members have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in complementary therapies (CT), holistic nursing and integrative health care. Please help us make the newsletter yours with your contributions. Submissions due date: May 31, 2018

It can be as simple as letting us know that you have attended or are giving a really interesting course, read a helpful book, researched articles or volunteered at a health fair or other function. Spotlight your practice or on a more personal note, a perspective that you would like to put forward. Perhaps you have just been certified in a CT or have penned a poem. We would like to hear about it all.

Feeling shy or uncertain? The editorial team is available if you need assistance in any way.

The following are just some ideas for submissions, but the sky is the limit:

Inspirational corner
Poems, reflections, photos, personal experiences with clients using CT, humorous quotes, cartoons etc.

Articles
Spotlight your holistic/complementary therapy practice. The article can range from 250-500 words. Of particular interest is our new "An introduction to" where you can tell everyone the basics of your particular CT.

Research
We welcome articles about any research you are involved in or current research articles related to CT, holistic nursing and integrative health care.

Classes, workshops, conferences, accomplishments or other activities
Let us know if you are involved in presentations or recommend any classes, workshops or conferences or other activities related to CT/ holistic nursing/integrative health care. Provide a short description of any educational event (approx three to four sentences) including the website for specific details and contact info. No cost to members.

Certifications, degrees, awards, volunteering activities
We would also like to hear about any of your accomplishments

Website, YouTube and book recommendations
