The Middlesex-Elgin Chapter wanted to wish you an early Happy Nursing Week. We would also like to invite you to our Nursing Week breakfast on Thursday, May 10 between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. at 1922 Highland Heights in London, Ont.
We will have special guest speakers and RNs: Deb Warren and Jody Elliot. Deb will be speaking about supporting individuals with opioid use disorder and Jody will be speaking about recognizing opioid use disorder in your practice. Deb is a clinic nurse and manager at the Oxford Recovery Clinic with more than 20 years of experience with mental health and addiction in both community and hospital treatment settings. Jody is program coordinator for primary care addiction treatment at the Old South Family Health Team.
