Hello everyone,
A reminder that Middlesex-Elgin Chapter is partnering with 519Pursuit, a local non-profit, for their 2020 519Pledge sock event.
We hope that every member can donate one pair of white socks that will be distributed to local shelters throughout the winter season. This event runs from Oct. 14 - Nov. 14, 2020.
Members, their families, friends and co-workers can donate socks to drop boxes set up in Victoria Park (dates below)
OR
Members can start their own drop box at their work place and chapter executive will come and collect your donations. Attached are some posters you can use to advertise this event in your workplace
Drop boxes are already available at the following locations:
- Western University in the nursing building’s atrium for students and staff
- LHSC at the staff entrances at both UH and VH
- Parkwood Institute staff entrances at both Main Building and Mental Health
There will also be drop off days on Oct. 17, Oct. 25, and Nov. 7 from 12-2p.m. at the Victoria Park, in the parking lot at the end of Clarence near Williams Coffee Shop.
