Attention Nursing Students of Ontario,
The “Healthcare Policy Snapshot Seminar” will be hosted by STEMxPolicy virtually on March 1st from 7:00-8:30 pm. This seminar is an excellent opportunity for you to engage with current leaders in healthcare policy in Ontario.
The following mini-seminars will be presented:

Presented by: Morgan Hoffarth, President, Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario; Director of Care, Mount Hope Centre for long-term care.
Medical Education and Advocacy: Building the Next Generation of Health Policy Leaders
Presented by: Dr. Albert Ng, President, Ontario Medical Foundation; Chair, Committee on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools; Adjunct Professor, Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, Western University; Past Board Chair, Ontario Medical Association; Past Board Director, Canadian Medical Association
Throughout the “Snapshot Seminar” series, STEMxPolicy is dedicated to engaging students in relevant current policy topics. By inviting speakers well-versed in their respective areas in STEM, we are providing you with a unique opportunity to catch a glimpse of the current gaps, key considerations, major stakeholders, and the creation process of policy at a provincial level. After the seminar presentations, you will have the opportunity to interact with Morgan Hoffarth and Dr. Albert Ng directly in the breakout room Q&A session.
We strongly encourage students with an interest in healthcare to attend!
