Nursing education and COVID-19 survey - Please respond

Posted on July 20, 2020, 8:23 a.m.

Dear NSO member,

As many of you know, RNAO has been interested in how nursing education has been impacted by COVID-19 and in particular the clinical component of their education and any program interruptions that may have delayed progression, graduation and/or registration examination writing. We are interested in hearing from students, learning about program issues from schools of nursing and placement issues from partner health-care organizations. One of the ways we would like to obtain your input is through the Nursing Education and COVID-19 Student Survey.

We will use the data to help us:

1) understand the extent to which students have been affected

2) direct further data collection

3) determine solutions to challenges and concerns identified, and next steps

Your executive has piloted the survey questions, which has informed this final questionnaire. You will find a link in this email that will take you directly to the survey for your completion. We ask that you complete the survey in one sitting – it should take no more than 10-15 minutes. We would greatly appreciate your response by end of day on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. Please be aware that all responses will be anonymous, and your completion of the survey indicates your understanding of the nature of our work, how the survey results will be used and your consent to be involved. We do not foresee any risk associated with your completion of this survey.

Here is the link to the survey and we thank you kindly for taking the time to complete this survey by Wednesday, July 29, 2020.

Regards,
