Join CTNIG member Elaine Pipher in her presentation on "Points of You" during Nursing Week.
What is "Points of You"?
"Points of You" is a set of unique tools that use photographs to provoke the mind into thinking in a different way about what we are seeing. A photograph is taken in a split second in time. It is something we would not normally analyze in depth. By looking at a photograph and using guided questions, it allows us to slow our thoughts down and explore how we really think and feel about what we are seeing in a different way than what we are used to. That is to expand our perspective and allow us to see points of view other than our own. It was developed by Efrat Shani and Yaron Golan in 2006 and there are facilitators all over the world.
Elaine will be facilitating an information session and coaching you through an experiential component using some of the tools utilized in "Points of You " to enhance being curious and learning about who we are and our perspective. They can be used on a personal level, in groups or in professional development settings.
