1) If you haven't already saved the date, and signed up for the RNAO AGM, and ours as well, then please do! April 21, 2018 at the Toronto Hilton for the CTNIG AGM - Annual General Meeting!
Our keynote speaker is one of our members, Patricia Kennedy, RN from London, ON. She was our 2017 winner of the CTNIG Award of Excellence. Pat will speak on "Holistic Approach to Breast Health & More" and intends to share what she knows about a holistic, integrative approach to care, breast & general health! You will find this a very valuable talk that can impact your health and wellness.
It is free for nurses, so bring a friend, you just have to sign up! We will have refreshments with a light breakfast. 2) We are asking all CTNIG Members to review our Constitution and Bylaws - we annually review them and this year we have a few changes to assist our Executive and members in the functioning of our group (e.g. some are spelling corrections). We are asking you to take a look at the proposed changes and email Kim Watson (chair@rnao-ctnig.org) with any concerns or suggestions.
3) WEBSITE PASSWORD for MEMBERS: holistic
Wanted to remind and share for any new members that we have a password protected area on the website - this is one of the benefits of membership. We will be archiving all the past newsletters there as well. We are currently working on the website so you may note changes over the next few months, thanks to our Social Media Officer Sandra Milley. Sandra also is the newsletter editor and would welcome articles written by you, on what you do, or who you are for a future newsletter. So drop bye and see the changes. Also remember to let us know what you would like to see at the website as well!
