Hello CHNIG members:
The Community Health Nurses' Initiatives Group (CHNIG) Board would like to better understand your learning needs for community health nursing and your interest in participating a CHNIG subcommittee or the board. We invite you to complete this survey by April 28th! Please go to https://myrnao.ca/chnig_survey_2023
Join us on March 27th from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm for a presentation on Understanding the Current State of Nursing, the Environment, and Legislation.
Through the lens of the Social Determinants of Health, nurses are aware that the quality of the environment in which we live, work and play has an effect on human health.
Nurses may be concerned about the impact that changes to the built or natural environment around them may have on human health.
The CNA certification recognizes your unique community practice focus and reaffirms certified nurses are qualified, competent, and current in the practice of community health nursing.
Applications to write/renew for Spring 2023 close March 31st. Fall 2023 applications open June 5th
