CHNIG Call for Nominations
The Community Health Nurses' Initiatives Group (CHNIG) Nominations Committee is seeking experienced, committed, and skilled individuals for the CHNIG Board of Directors for the 2024-2026 term. TWe are seeking nominees who are passionate about community health nursing and will lead CHNIG into the future. Nominations are now being accepted for the following positions for a two-year office unless otherwise noted. (Note: at the termination of the two-year term, you are eligible to stand for a second term of two years).
The Call for Nominations is for the following CHNIG Board of Director (BOD) positions:
- President-elect
- Policy and Political Action
- Communications- Website
- Communications- Social media
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Research, Education, and Professional Development- co lead
- Members Benefits
- Governance
- OPHA Liaison
- Student representative (2 positions)
Candidates must be members in good standing of RNAO and CHNIG and agree to serve for a two-year term if elected unless otherwise noted.

Nominations must be received by the CHNIG Nominations Committee no later than the closing for Call of Nominations on June 1, 2024 at 12 PM.
NOMINATION REQUIREMENTS
Nominations for the Director position must have consent be provided by the Nominee and must include the name and the RNAO membership number of 2 nominators who are CHNIG members in good standing.
The nomination form must be accompanied by a photo of the nominee and a brief description of the candidate’s skills outlining their appropriateness for the position including knowledge and experience and nominators contact info. Please note the brief description of the candidate’s skills and experience may be published in communications to members.
