Mississauga is eligible to appoint a maximum of 13 consultation representatives for RNAO’s 99^th Annual  General Meeting (AGM), which will take place on Friday, June 21, 2024, at the Toronto Hilton Hotel. If interested, register for the AGM and indicate your commitment to this vital role.

Consultation representatives will weigh in on resolutions submitted by members to help shape the association’s agenda. The AGM is your chance to see your association at work and is a great place to meet your nursing colleagues across the province.

The Mississauga and Brampton Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO) Chapters invite you to attend the Improving Dementia Care Discussion - for nurses/ other health professionals. 

Join us for dinner and an evening dedicated to enhancing your understanding of dementia care! This in-person event will take place on Thursday, Nov. 30 at the  Riverstone Community Centre.  A light dinner will be served.

Nursing Week is May 8–14, and it’s our opportunity to celebrate the amazing nurses in RNAO’s Brampton and Mississauga Chapters and the Community Health Nurses’ Initiative Group (CHNIG).  We’ll be profiling nurses in alignment with RNAO’s recent Nursing Careers Pathway report, which outlines how nurses are educated and what domains and sectors they work in. The report celebrates nurses who remain positive during these challenging times.

As you may know (see FAQ), RNAO has transitioned into new regional boundaries on June 1, 2022, that were adopted at the 2020 Annual General Meeting (AGM). We have realigned our chapter and region boundaries with Ontario’s provincial electoral districts. This was intended to more consistently and clearly align the organization of RNAO’s membership with the political activities of the Association.
