Consultation representative requirements

must hold a valid RNAO membership for 2023 in one of the following fee categories: Regular, New Graduate (with CNO registration #), Currently Employed, Retired, and ONA group, CUPE Group, or Other Volume Discount Groups.

must be available to attend in person and on time to all mandatory sessions outlined below.

must participate in our Chapter resolutions review, likely to take place in early June.

must abide by the rules of order set out by the RNAO Bylaws & Policies upheld by the Parliamentarian, including mandatory sessions, keeping time, and voting procedures.
Mandatory orientation session details
There will be virtual orientation sessions offered on Monday, June 19, 2023 (7 – 8:30 p.m.) OR Tuesday, June 20, 2023 (5 – 6:30 p.m.)

These sessions will cover the rules of order for the AGM as set out by the parliamentarian

Attendance is also required to make sure that you are registered onto the certified list of voters for the AGM. Those who do not attend the full session will not receive their voting cards or appear on the certified list, and will not be allowed to vote.

If you are unable to attend any of these sessions ensure that an alternate is made aware and is available to attend in your place.

Fill in the online Consultation Representative Appointment form: https://myRNAO.ca/consult_reps_2023
This form must be received at the RNAO home office by Monday, May 1, 2023 at 5 p.m. ET.
Please note: completing this form does not register you for the AGM or other events occurring during the AGM. Please ensure that you also register to attend the AGM.
