Hello Middlesex-Elgin Chapter members,
As this year’s term of service for committee members is coming to a close, we are looking for new members to join and support the Middlesex-Elgin Chapter executive. Our chapter has provided you with great opportunities for engagement over the past year, and we are excited to find the next crop of members who can continue bringing good ideas to the group!
The current openings on our executive are the positions of social media executive network officer (ENO) (two-year term) and finance ENO (one-year term).
The social media ENO is the point person for the group's social media profile. As part of the executive team, their responsibilities can include:
- managing the group’s social media presence
- updating the group’s Chapter pages: Middlesex Elgin Chapter | Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (rnao.ca)
- creating posts to advertise chapter events and pass on information about chapter activities
The finance ENO provides the financial management for the chapter executive. Their duties can include:
- create a budget each year, together with the rest of the executive
- keep a bank account and records of the group’s revenue and spending
- provide financial reporting to home office annually
If you have the desire to develop some leadership skills and to work with a highly motivated group of nurses, we would be honored if you would consider serving on the Middlesex-Elgin Chapter
