On Oct. 24, RNAO CEO Dr. Doris Grinspun will be touring various locations throughout the Middlesex Elgin Chapter. Her day will end at the Ivey Spencer Leadership Centre, where she will have dinner with some members of the Western-Fanshawe Nursing Students Association (WFNSA).
While seating at the event is limited to WFSNA members, we would like to invite all nursing students living and studying within the Middlesex Elgin Chapter catchment area to attend the meeting virtually. At the meeting, Doris will provide us with an overview of the work RNAO does and the value of membership in our association. She will also share information about Nursing Careers Pathway, a recent RNAO report that highlights the barriers to retaining and recruiting nurses in Ontario and identifies opportunities for short-term and long-term improvements.
Doris would also like to engage in conversation with nursing students to learn about the challenges and opportunities you see as you learn and work toward membership in the nursing community.
