Middlesex Elgin Chapter of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) is supporting London Homeless Coalition in a memorial event for the homeless in London.
This is an event that honors and recognizes the lives that have been lost with experiencing homelessness, with the recognition of Indigenous homelessness too.
RNAO Middlesex Elgin Chapter is asking for members to volunteer and join the Chapter President Jamal El Firikh in this event for one-hour slots per member. Please register here or email middlesexelgin.rnao@gmail.com.
We will be sharing flowers at the following venues as a means to emphasize the importance of lives lost with experiences of homelessness, as well as to promote the Memorial Event specifically.
- Covent Garden Market on Friday, October 8th from 11 am - 1 pm
- The Market at the Western Fair on Saturday, October 9th from 1-2 pm
