RNAO Event: Nursing to those in need, Bridge to Health
Interested in volunteer opportunities abroad? Looking for ways to advance your nursing experience and impact the lives of those in under-serviced areas? RNAO Durham-Northumberland Chapter will be hosting a group of physicians and nurses from “Bridge to Health” to talk about volunteer opportunities in isolated communities across sub-saharan Africa, including rural Kabale District, Kenya, Uganda and Kisumu County. Come hear about how you can join other passionate professionals in treating patients, improving healthcare delivery systems, training local healthcare workers, and educating the people of these communities.
