Fall Tour 2023, October 18th 6-8PM EST

Join the International Nursing Interest Group (INIG), RNAO's Region 8 (including Durham, Kawartha-Victoria, and Quinte Chapters), and the Ontario Nurses for the Environment Interest Group (ONEIG) as we co-host a Fall Tour event on Oct. 18, 2023 at 6 p.m. ET.

Speak with RNAO's President-Elect Lhamo Dolkar about the nursing, health, and health-care issues that matter to you and hear about how your professional association has been speaking out for nurses. INIG and some Region 8 executive network officers will also provide an update on the past year, and what to expect in the coming months.

INIG's 25th Founding Anniversary, Dec. 16th 12:30-3:30PM

The International Nursing Interest Group is celebrating its 25th anniversary on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023. This celebration will be held at Centennial College's Morningside campus (755 Morningside Ave.) in Scarborough, from 12:30 – 3:30 p.m.

During this celebration, we will be honouring all founding members and past presidents of INIG. We are inviting our current and former members and distinguished guests to join us in celebrating this milestone.

Lunch will be served at this event. A $10 fee for members is required to attend this event. We would appreciate if you could please RSVP by registering on or before Friday, Dec. 8 so that we might arrange numbers for food orders.

The International Nursing Interest Group of the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario cordially invites you to its webinar, Reflections on Nursing Leadership and Capacity Building in Global Health, with guest speaker Dr. Nancy Edwards on May 7, 2024 from 6-7:30 p.m. ET Zoom.

Nancy Edwards is a Distinguished Professor and Professor Emeritus, School of Nursing, University of Ottawa. Using examples from her 45-year nursing career, Nancy will offer reflections on nursing leadership and capacity building in global health.  She will challenge us to learn from those with deep knowledge about culture and community, interrogate structural drivers of health inequities, work towards decolonizing approaches, attend to governance, and engage outside your comfort zone.
