#WeAreNPs

Together we are raising awareness of who we are and what we do as such an important part of Ontario’s health system!  We are helping the public and other healthcare workers understand our role, where we work, and how all Ontarians are benefitting.

As a fun way of continuing to advance our goal of public awareness, we are sharing with you branded items that you can use to draw attention to the campaign. Add the decals/stickers to your computer, water bottles, cell phone, and use the post-it notes in communicating messages to colleagues and friends. Take pictures of these items and post on social media.  Then be prepared to talk about the campaign when they are noticed!!

If you have not yet been involved in #WeAreNPs, join us in increasing awareness of NPs’ central role in providing quality care to Ontarians. To be involved please take the following steps:

  1. record a short video of yourself holding up a sign to share what being an NP means to you. click here for a template you can use for your sign if you wish.
  2. share your video on social media, using “#WeAreNPs”, and tagging @RNAO on X (formerly Twitter) or @registerednurses on Instagram.
  3. upload a photo or video to RNAO to participate in a compilation video to share what being an NP means to you. This will become part of our #WeAreNPs social media campaign before, during and after NP Week. If you are interested, click here

Don’t forget that RNAO and NPIG have your back and relentlessly advocate for our role, compensation, recognition, and place around the decision-making tables.  If you are not a member of NPIG, we would love to have you join us.

Remember  and we want the public to know all about us!
