Are you looking for a relaxing break to connect with colleagues? Our executive team has been busy planning to celebrate nursing week as Florence Nightingale Turns 200 years! This year we are changing things up.
You are cordially invited to a zoom party on May 14th!
In this celebratory event, you will have a chance to hear from renowned Nightingale scholar Dr. Deva Marie Beck, PhD, RN, with a chance to win some exciting giveaways. Dr. Beck is a Canadian/American who has been working for nearly three decades on approaches to citizen advocacy for achieving global health and the UN's Global Goals, including the Millennium Development Goals and the Sustainable Development Goals. Since 2006, Dr. Beck has served as the Nightingale Initiative for Global Health's International Co-Director. Her primary goal is to continue to engage and empower nurses, midwives and concerned citizens to be advocates for the most pressing health and development needs of our time on a global scale.
