Happy New Year! Join RNAO, in partnership with the Nurse Practitioner Interest Group (NPIG), for the first NPIG Insider webinar of 2019.


NPIG Insider is a monthly webinar series for NP members of RNAO to network, share, learn, discuss, and collaborate on topics relevant to NP practice.

On Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019 we welcome Sue Faber, registered nurse and co-founder of the not-for-profit organization LymeHope. Join Sue for a presentation and discussion on Challenging the Lyme Paradigm

During the webinar, participants will:

  • Hear an overview of Lyme disease – clinical signs and symptoms, testing, diagnosis and management.
  • Learn about the latest research, including on infection persistence and alternate modes of transmission.
  • Discuss the nurses’ role as an advocate, drawing on evidence and the lived experiences and priorities of people with Lyme disease.
